
USA Pickleball Announces Select Series in Five Regional Locations for Members to Compete Between July and October

USA Pickleball has recently unveiled its exciting new initiative, the USA Pickleball Select Series. This series features competitive events in five regional locations across the United States, scheduled from July to October 2024. This initiative aims to offer players of all skill levels the opportunity to compete, improve their game, and experience the camaraderie of the pickleball community. With events planned in Virginia, Alabama, California, New Jersey, and Colorado, the Select Series promises to be a thrilling addition to the pickleball calendar.
The USA Pickleball Select Series is designed to provide competitive opportunities for members, allowing them to hone their skills in a structured and supportive environment. Each event in the series will feature a round-robin format, ensuring that all participants get ample playtime and the chance to compete against a variety of opponents. The top players from the round-robin stages will advance to knockout rounds, adding an extra layer of excitement and competition.
The Select Series will take place in five distinct regions, each chosen for its vibrant pickleball community and excellent facilities:
- Mid-Atlantic: Performance Pickleball RVA in Henrico, Virginia, from July 18-21, 2024.
- Gulf Coast: Foley Event Center in Foley, Alabama, from August 22-25, 2024.
- Wine Country: Allan Witt Park in Fairfield, California, from September 5-8, 2024.
- North Mid-Atlantic: The Atlantic Club Pickleball Center in Manasquan, New Jersey, from September 27-29, 2024.
- Great Plains: Airforce Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado, from October 10-13, 2024.
These locations have been selected to provide diverse playing environments and to make the series accessible to players from various parts of the country.
The Select Series is tailored to enhance the player experience. Competitions will be divided into skill-based categories, ensuring that players compete against others of similar ability. This structure promotes fair play and allows participants to focus on improving their skills in a competitive yet supportive atmosphere. Each event will feature amenities to ensure player comfort and enjoyment, including well-maintained courts, spectator seating, and access to refreshments.
